Cast Meet Crew provides a platform for creatives to share media content with a community of artists from around the world. Whether you are a budding actor, a professional dance trainee or a world-renowned pianist, Cast Meet Crew shines a spotlight in which you can showcase your skills and talents.

Cast Meet Crew is provided by Creative Lighthouse Inc. (“Creative Lighthouse Inc.”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use and share your information across our web sites, SMS, notifications, advertisements, and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy applies to anyone who registers for or uses our Services. By using our Services, you agree that we can collect, transfer, store, disclose and use your information as described in this Policy.

You understand and agree that we are providing a platform for posting and sharing content, such as photos, videos, text, and other materials (“User Content”). In particular, this means that others, including other users of the Services, may search for, see, use or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Services, consistent with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

By registering for and using the Services, you consent to the transfer of information to Canada or to any other country in which we or our service providers maintain facilities.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

We collect the following types of information:
Information provided by you:

  • Personal information, such as your name, username, password, email address, phone number, date of birth, profession/job
  • User Content (e.g. photos, videos, audio clips, images, text, etc.) that you share on or via the Services
  • Location information
  • Login and profile information for third-party services (e.g. social media services) that you connect with your Cast Meet Crew account
  • Communications between you and us (e.g. service-related emails, such as account verification, updates to Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, etc.)

Analytics: We may measure traffic and service usage statistics using third-party analytics tools. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Services, such as the web pages you visit, interactions with links, and other information which may be used to help improve our Services. The analytics information that we collect is not used to identify any particular individual user.
Cookies: We may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. pixel tags) to collect usage data and to improve our Services. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to monitor usage by our users and web traffic routing on our Services. We may ask advertisers or other third-party partners to provide advertisements or services to your device using cookies or similar technologies placed by us or the third party.
Log data: When you use our Services, we may receive information such as your IP address, device information (e.g. device identifier), location, referring web pages, pages visited, browser type, operating system, and cookie information. Metadata: Users can add metadata (e.g. hashtags, geotags, comments, etc.) to their User Content. The added metadata may render the User Content searchable by others. For example, if you geotag a photo, your location information will be stored with the photo and may be searchable if the photo is made public via your privacy settings.
In addition to the specific uses of collected information that are described in this Privacy Policy, we may use the information to:

  • Provide customized content and information to our users
  • Monitor service-related metrics, such as number of users, demographic patterns, and web traffic
  • Diagnose or fix technology problems
 

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We may share or disclose your information (including, but not limited to, your User Content, information from cookies, log data, location data, and device identifiers) at your direction. Once you have shared your User Content and made it public, that User Content may be re-shared by other users of the Services. Law and harm: We may preserve or disclose your information in response to a legal request (e.g. search warrant, court order, subpoena) if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to detect, prevent and address fraud and other illicit activity; or to protect our rights or property.
Change of control: If we are involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. You will continue to own your User Content. This Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your information after the transfer to the new entity.

 

CONFIGURING YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS
You can update your account by logging in and changing your profile and privacy settings. You can also correct, modify or delete any personal information you provided to us and associated with your account. You can also unsubscribe from certain email communications from us by updating your account settings.
You can temporarily deactivate or permanently delete your Cast Meet Crew account. Following termination or deletion of your account, we may retain your profile information and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.

 

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us.

 

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
As Cast Meet Crew evolves, we may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you, for example, by posting a notice within the Cast Meet Crew mobile application or by sending an email to the email address associated with your Cast Meet Crew account. By using or accessing the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the revised Policy.
